In the Spring of 2020, GCSC had the opportunity to be involved with Project Impact through the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. Project Impact connects first year business students with a local nonprofit or community agency to learn about their work and help them with a specific project.

The Project Impact students connected with the Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative worked to determine majors within the business school that could translate into a STEM career. Originally, they were prepared to host a booth at the 3d Printers Showcase on March 18th, 2020, unfortunately that could not happen.

In lieu of an in person presentation, the Project Impact students decided to turn the information they gathered into a PowerPoint to share with GCSC. From there, GCSC turned their research and insights into a one page graphic flyer that could be used to share different career pathways with the network. This resource can now be found on our resource site.
